Dwayne Johnson Gifts His Custom Truck to Church Group Leader at Film Screening

by christiannewsjournal

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson offered a fan more than a good time at the movies with free popcorn and ice cream. He gave away his very own custom truck.

Johnson did research on those attending the screening and wanted to bless someone in a ‘Big’ way.

“I invited fans to a special theater screening of RED NOTICE and I wanted to do something cool for all of them. Free concessions, @projectrock@teremana@zoaenergy@saltandstraw ice cream.
Free everything and a great time at the movies! I also wanted to do something BIG… something MASSIVE…something unforgettable for one fan.”

That he did.

“Oscar Rodriguez’s story moved me” Johnson wrote on his Instagram.

Rodriguez’s is a Navy veteran, personal trainer, and sole caretaker of his 75-year-old mother. He’s also a leader of a local church group and runs a charity to help victims of domestic violence.

“And now I can figure out how I’m getting home,” laughed Johnson. “‘Cause I don’t have my ride.”

The Fast and Furious star also gifted a Ford F-150 to Bruno Lauer in 2021, a friend who helped Johnson as a homeless teen.

‘I love you, brother,” Johnson wrote to his friend in a post on Instagram. “Your kindness and heart – helped change my life’s trajectory. And when you’re ready to retire from ‘the business’ you just say the word. I got you covered.”

Deuteronomy 15:10 – “You shall generously give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all your undertakings.”
