When Kevin Palau and his dad, internationally known evangelist Luis Palau, and a few evangelical pastors walked into a meeting with the newly elected gay mayor of Portland in 2008, no one knew what to expect—especially Sam Adams. Past experience and mass media portrayals of hypercritical evangelicals made Mayor Adams
