Fri. Jan. 24 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. – National Prayer Service at Constitution Hall

Fri. Jan. 24 starting approximately 2 p.m. – Silent No More Awareness Campaign Gathering

At the Priests for Life exhibit booth at the March for Life Convention, as well as during the rally of the West Coast Walk for Life, the Priests for Life team will provide an opportunity for voter registration.

“This year is a very important one for the unborn,” said Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life. “The November election will determine whether we will end the holocaust against children in the womb or vastly increase that holocaust and fund it with taxpayer dollars. I am calling on every pro-lifer in the nation to let your voice be heard, whether at these events or in your own communities.”

This year, Priests for Life is organizing a pro-life prayer vigil in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on Jan. 22 to mark the tragic 47th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion.

“We are inviting national pro-life leaders to join with Priests for Life to pray for an end to abortion, at the very place where Roe v Wade was issued. I invite everyone who is in D.C. for the March for Life to join us.”

On Thursday, Jan. 23, a prayerful protest will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. outside D.C.’s flagship Planned Parenthood killing center, located at 1225 4th Street NE. Father Pavone, along with Priests for Life’s youth outreach director, Bryan Kemper, will lead the event and will welcome other national pro-life leaders who will stand with them.

Mr. Kemper will return as the emcee of this year’s official March for Life Youth Rally, which will take place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 at the Renaissance Washington Downtown Hotel at 999 Ninth St. NW. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Vice President Mike Pence’s daughter, Charlotte Pence, will be one of the speakers.

On Friday, Jan. 24, the day of the March itself, the annual National Memorial for the Pre-born (NationalPrayerService.com) will take place at Constitution Hall at 1776 D St. NW. This interdenominational event is the premiere prayer service during the March for Life. Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins will receive the 2020 Pro-Life Award. Father Pavone will preach and singer Joyce Im Bartholomew will perform.

The Silent No More gathering (SilentNoMore.com) will begin in front of the Supreme Court building immediately following the March for Life. Janet Morana and Georgette Forney, the co-founders of the Campaign, along with Fr. Pavone, who serves as the Campaign’s Pastoral Director, will lead the gathering. Dozens of women and men who lost children to abortion will give their testimonies, along with other family members.

Priests for Life and the Silent No More Awareness Campaign also will play a leading role at the Walk for Life West Coast in San Francisco on Jan. 25. The following events are planned for that day:

From 8 to 9:30 a.m. PT, protest at Planned Parenthood, 1650 Valencia St., San Francisco. Fr. Pavone, Bryan Kemper and other leaders will speak.

From 8:30 to 9:30 am Father Pavone will be on the steps of St. Mary’s Cathedral greeting people before the 9:30 a.m.  Mass. 1111 Gough Street, San Francisco.

10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. At Civic Center Plaza, Father Pavone and Georgette Forney of Anglicans for Life will lead the men and women of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign as they give their testimonies. Fr. Pavone and Mrs. Forney also will address the crowd.

12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Walk for Life Rally at the Civic Center Plaza. Fr. Frank Pavone will deliver a keynote address regarding the political responsibility of the pro-life movement.

Priests for Life and its Stand True Youth Outreach will have an exhibit table throughout the Walk for Life Rally.
