The world may seem a crazy, out-of-control place—but only God can provide lasting comfort.
God can provide answers.
God can lead us to the wisdom, and the understanding, and the peace of mind and heart and soul, that we seek.

“Why is life such a struggle so much of the time?”
“Why can’t I find happiness?”
“Why does my spouse seem so distracted?”
“How can I feel closer to my kids and my family?”
“Why aren’t our elected politicians protecting our country from harm?”
“Why is the southern border so open—with so many illegal immigrants streaming across every day? How is this fair to decent, tax-paying Americans? Why isn’t this problem being taken care of properly by those in charge?”
“Will I be able to afford gas for my car so I can get to work and take care of my family?”
“Will I ever get the promotion and raise that I know I deserve?”
“Will I ever find a job I like?”
“Will I be able to keep my job?”
“Why haven’t I found my ‘one true love’ yet?”
“Will I ever stop feeling lonely?”
“Will I ever stop feeling afraid?”
“Why are people so mean?”
“Why can’t I get healthy and lose weight?”
“Why can’t I get healthy, period?”
“Why does my leg still hurt?”
“Why can’t I breathe right?”
“Why does my heart feel heavy?”
“When will COVID go away so we can get back to ‘normal’?”
“Will there ever be another ‘normal’ again?”
“Will my sister/brother/mother/father/grandparents/friends/neighbors die of COVID?”
“How will I be able to pay my medical bills?”
“Will I be able to see the doctor when I need to?”
“Why is there so much suffering in our country?”
“Why is there so much suffering in the world?”
“Are the socialists going to take over our great country and destroy it?”
“Will my kids and grandkids be able to grow up and thrive in the country I know and love?”
“Will I still enjoy my freedom for the rest of my life?”
“Will I stay safe?”
“Will my family stay safe?”
“God, do you hear me? Do you hear my prayers?”
Pray, pray—and pray.

God hears you. God hears us.
He hears us every single day—and every single time we pray.
Stay focused on God.
Believe in the power of the Almighty. Believe in Jesus. Believe in the Holy Spirit.
As faith leader and evangelist Nick Hall wrote in Christian News Journal recently, “We are not meant to be alone, but to be in a community with other believers. When you let your guard down and follow Jesus—when you begin to let people into your life—it’s a game-changer.”

Know that He is with you, and with all of us, at every single moment of our lives.
God never lets us down.
God is here.
God hears the prayers of His people.
God is all-powerful.
From 1 Peter 3:12 (NIV): “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
