Americans, Tell Your Elected Officials to Challenge the Electoral College Vote—It’s Not Too Late to Stand Up for President Trump

Most Americans of all walks of life know that President Donald Trump is challenging the November 2020 election results in a number of states—including in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, where evidence of election irregularities and election fraud has surfaced. Multiple legal challenges have been filed and those are ongoing.

Meanwhile, Democrat Joe Biden has already selected potential Cabinet picks in anticipation of beginning a Biden-Harris administration roughly a month from now.

On Dec. 14, 2020, the presidential electors gave Biden 306 electoral votes and Trump 232 electoral votes. However, Congress has not yet certified those election results.

And all Americans still have a voice.

Yes, Americans can still speak up and must speak up—for integrity, for justice, for our nation.

On January 6, 2021, a Joint Session of Congress will convene to tally the Electoral College votes and certify the results. But before that time, Americans can make their views known.

Here’s what to do now. All those who voted for President Trump, and who believe we need him to continue leading our country as a beacon of freedom, as the land of opportunity, as the country we have known and loved for our entire lives: Call or email your senator or representative right now. Tell him or her that you support President Donald Trump—and that you want an objection to the Electoral College results filed for your state.

The objection from an elected official must be made in writing—and it must be signed by at least one senator and one House member. Assuming the objection is properly made, the Joint Session of Congress is then suspended—and the chambers of Congress meet separately to consider it, as a number of outlets have noted.

Yes, a number of outlets have also reported that this is a long shot. But it is not out of the question, either—and all Americans have a voice and must use it for democracy’s sake.

Already, some Republican representatives are in talks about challenging the Electoral College results. Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.), Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) and a number of other GOP House lawmakers are pledging to challenge the votes.

“We have a very strong case, and our numbers are growing strong,” Greene asserted on Monday, Dec. 22, to Newsmax TV’s Sean Spicer. “We talked to senators and we’re good to go for this objection.”

Greene said that she spoke with Trump about challenging the votes. She said, “I didn’t run for Congress to sit by and be quiet, so I called the president. I support him, I voted for him, just like everyone else, and I’m happy to support him in this trying time.”

Our elected officials—placed in their positions by their fellow citizens—need to know how Americans feel. They need to know that the millions of Americans who voted for President Trump in the November election still back him, still support him.

They need to know that patriotic Americans support free and fair elections—and that our very democracy is at stake, not just in this election but in future elections.

The results in a number of states are far from clear and the president has been pursuing all legal and constitutional avenues to “stop the theft of the presidential election,” as Trump himself said in a video message to Americans on Tuesday night, Dec. 22.

Trump has called on American citizens to speak up and fight for justice and integrity in our election process.

“Now is the time for the American people to raise their voices and demand that this injustice be immediately corrected,” Trump said in the video. “Our elections must be fair, they must be honest, they must be transparent, and they must be 100 percent free of fraud.” He also said, “We cannot allow a completely fraudulent election to stand.”

In addition, Trump asserted that one of his most vital duties as president is to protect the integrity of Americans’ “sacred right to vote.”

Think about it: “Despite everything that was done for four years to defame, undermine, and smear President Trump, over 74 million Americans voted for him [in the 2020 election],” as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) noted in a video message he shared on Dec. 23. “And if those of us who believe the election was rigged are right, there were probably substantially more than 74 million [who did so],” he added—yet those “votes weren’t counted.”

So, “at a minimum,” said Gingrich, “the elites ought to slow down and pay attention and say, ‘Gee, what is it we’re doing so wrong, that despite every effort to discredit President Trump, 74 million people repudiated us and stayed with him?’ I think that’s a very, very important question.”

Gingrich also said, “Candidly, if he had had even 20 percent fairness from the media, I suspect he would have won in a landslide.” He, too, urges Americans to speak up and make their voices heard.

So, what can citizens do? Two key things.

ONE: Pray for President Trump. Prayer matters. Prayer makes a difference. God hears prayers.

As Gingrich noted to Americans in his video about President Trump, “He has been in a running fight now for over five years. He has the entire national media opposed to him. He has the big internet companies opposed to him. He has billionaires who are pro-Chinese opposed to him. This is a tough business. And prayer helps.”

TWO: “You can communicate with your local state legislator, your local congressman, that you’re still in support of the president. And you can speak out.”

Act now. Before January 6, make your voice heard. Speak up. Reach out to your elected official and let him or her know where you stand on this election. Every voice matters.

Here’s how to contact your senator. Or, call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121. An operator will connect you directly with the Senate office you request.

Here’s how to contact your House representative. Click that link to find the specific phone number for your representative.

Speak up! The time to act is now and the need is great.

This is America, the country Trump has fought tooth and nail for over the past four years. He’s been the most pro-life president in our history, he’s stood up for religious freedom, and he’s put America first in numerous ways—including with a strong border wall and with border policies that, alas, Democrat Biden has already said he’ll begin reversing as soon as he can.

Speak up, take action, reach out now—and exercise your freedom and your fervent, dearly held belief in the United States of America.

You will thank yourself later—as will your children, their children, and their children.
