President Trump met privately with Ahmaud Arbery’s mother before signing an executive order to reform policing tactics.

Arbery, 25, was fatally shot near Brunswick in Glynn County, Georgia, while jogging by Travis McMichael and his father Gregory in February.

Wanda Cooper-Jones says, “I was very, very emotional throughout the whole conference,” she says. “[Trump] was very compassionate. He showed major concern for all families. Not just one family, but for all families.”

She describes President Donald Trump as “very compassionate.”

Cooper-Jones says she appreciated President Trump’s compassion during their meeting, but also felt the president’s executive order did not go far enough.

Trump praises the grieving mother standing up for her son.
