Actor Jon Voight took to Twitter and shared his thoughts on the coming 2020 election and President Donald Trump.
“There is no better man to take this country to its highest call of God. There is only one man. This is our president of the United States of America, Donald Trump,” said Voight. He also asked Americans to stand with him and “to take this pledge with me: Let us all vote for our president to win this battle, and with this win, he and the Almighty will make America great once again.”

He added that the country made significant strides under Trump’s leadership.
One of those accomplishments being — supporting the pro-life movement.
Seen as the most prolific pro-life president in history, Trump is following the footsteps of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush to protect the sanctity of life.
Trump signed legislation overturning an Obama Administration rule prohibiting states from defunding abortion service providers like Planned Parenthood from receiving Title X funds. Planned Parenthood collected $564.8 million between 2017-2018 in federal funds and reimbursement grants, according to their annual report. Non-government health services revenue was valued at $365.7 million.
Trump became the first sitting U.S. president to undeviatingly address the March for Life anti-abortion rally in Washington in 2018 – continuing to set his pro-life agenda. He became the first president to ever attend the March for Life in 2020.
This is not the first time Voight backed the president. The Academy Award-winner implored Americans to “stand with our President Trump” against Democrats and their “evil words trying for impeachment.”
