Ben Affleck attended a Mosaic church service led by nationally renowned and well-respected Senior Pastor Erwin McManus in Hollywood Sunday. Following the service, Pastor Erwin conducted an intimate interview with the actor in support of the inspirational sports film “The Way Back.”

They examined Affleck’s past conflicts, faith, grace, family life, the beauty of God’s word, and second chances — much like his character in the movie.

Affleck admitted, “Faith is something I have and also it has been a struggle for me.” However, “seeking God” continuously started connecting Affleck to a deeper faith and drew him closer to the Lord. Currently, Affleck attends church weekly with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their three kids.
