The story of creation ends with, “And God said it was good.” He didn’t say it was finished! We know God is not done creating because the Bible tells us that soon there will be a “new heaven and a new earth.” So much creation is ahead. And we need to be in line for it. In the entry “Alone,” we are encouraged that the time we spend in silence is profitable to hear from God about the impact we are designed to leave on the world.
Power of the End
God wants to finish creating this earth before He brings the new one, and He puts the power in us! The entry “Alphabet” reminds us that God is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He wants to carry out the middle through His relationship with us, and through Christ, we can complete His finished works.
The Holy Spirit desires our lives to be an adventure in Him. It’s essential that we open ourselves up to new ideas for Him to continue to create through us. Encourage yourself in His unique love this holiday season.
