The U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon, established in 1990 by Dr. John Hash and Dr. Corinthia Boone, brings hundreds of believers to the front of the Capitol Building to publicly affirm aloud the entire Word of God for over 90 hours. With the support of Faith & Liberty, advocates for change will read the Bible as a whole, from Genesis through Revelation, out loud for 24-hours a day over five days, starting on Sept. 12-16, 2020.

Originally scheduled for May, the event was delayed due to the Coronavirus. Never have we been faced with more opportunities to defend the rights of Christians and uphold our values in the courts. Extremists are pushing the most radical secular movement in the history of our nation.

We are divided as a country over politics. The war alienating Conservatives and Democrats moves to an unhealthy rhythm of hatred.

If we’re honest — we fan the flames of contention, not from a biblical foundation.

As a nation, all Americans need to hear from the Lord.

And, He has spoken! “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.” Hebrews 1:1-2

Do we need divine guidance, strength, and wisdom? Yes.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16
